Hi and salute to all from Oberstleutnant Impita

My introduction to simulation flying started with my first new computer. I bought it in late 98 and got a free subscription to a magazine called MacAddict. In each magazine I received a cd with software on it that they called freeware, shareware, and demos. My first flight simulator was on it. Dawn of the flying aces. My friend and I was able to connect on 56k modems and fly together against the ai that was mostly made up from the MacAttack squadron. Thats when I decided I'd like to be in MacAttack and did join them a few years later. I had so much fun at flying I bought A10 Cuba Attack, a second A10 game, then FA 18, somewhere in that time I tried WarBirds offline. Yet still wasn't ready to pay to play. Next was Microsoft Fly that was fun but it was just flying air port to air port. In my search for fun gaming I tried many games and liked most. Then my friend found a game found called Redline free trial online gaming. We had two tracks to play on for free up to eight cars on the track. That was so much fun I bought the game for twenty-five dollars and a Momo steering wheel with pedals for ninety nine dollars. The extra cars and tracks was built by the community so paying the twenty-five dollars you got access to all the cars and tracks. They even used gps to build the tracks. It also opened up to sixteen players and it was also free online gameplay. We run the game out of our computers we were the server. When I left the game we had over four hundred combined cars and tracks. Got a call one day from buddy he said he has a new flying game to try and it was online for free. Wow the price was perfect. I was hooked on online game play by this time from racing. I got the game it was TargetWare. Oh crap I'm hooked on flying again. Like my flight sim Fly you controlled the plane. TargetWare was very rewarding once you learned how to manage your planes. When I said manage your plane I mean just like the real thing. If it was on the plane in real life you had to manage it in the game. That required so much dedication to learn how to fly. It took me about a year to remember to control the planes in battle, at altitude, or just cruising here and their. All trims including cooling, rudder, ailerons, elevator, and flaps also fuel mixtures needed controlled. Two of the most important things where cooling and fuel mix. Without control of these you blew your motor. I loved all the management and I really miss that game. That's where I meet and joined MacAttack. Next was WWII online loved the game hated the flight model. The game p_____ me off so much I had to quit it. After that I joined Warbirds later joined JG51 and now you know my gaming story. Oh yea I forgot to mention something. I can say I can blame all this on him. ;-) ----> Mguzzi thanks dude. My wife says he has nothing to do with it. Hehehehe

If any of our s3 squad pilots are interested in setting up your own html page on this site. I am able to help with most of the common html questions. You can contact me through a p.m. in the JG51 forum and or when you see me in game. I am on a Mac so I can help more their then in Windows but the html in Windows will work the same. I am not as well equipped to answer Windows question but I do know a little basic stuff to get through html on the Windows platform. In Windows I use Note Pad for writhing html on the Mac I use Text Edit for html. I have been playing with html for about six or so years now. I studied, tested, and played with html about one year before I bought my domain name generalpita.com. On my web site at the bottom of my home page is the archived site. I have a portion of the coded pages I've done over the years sitting their.
