The F.1 had curved leading edges on the tail plane, the Dr.1 had straight L/E,s.

Its clear to see the confusion that presest around this one. Its even listed as a Dr.1..... <S>

Same plane, Kurt Wolff, was killed in a dog fight with Sopwith Camels from #10 Naval Squadron. Norman McGregor claimed the kill.

Kurt Wolff, Thats him directly under the Baron (This photo deserves a post devoted to it alone). The "wormy"looking one. He died with 33 kills, it seems that he was killed while in flight and the F1 found its own way down.
But back to Kurt. Besides having flown with one of the best fighter squadrons/leaders, at the pinicale of thier success, in the history on Air To Air combat . He also has the privalge of having a photo he was in turned into a pop icon
