CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW
March 1943.
Early 1943 saw the the turning point of the Night Air War, as both sides began to develop the tactics and technology to defeat the other. While Window, H2S and Flensberg had yet to be deployed, The advent of the Lancaster heavy bomber, the Oboe system of navigation and the Wilde Sau and Himmelbitt defense system gave both sides a measure of effectiveness against the other.

Stupid Time zones - I was going to log in at 1:30 PST ..... its 11:30 DAMN!

Just ended about 5:30 PM eastern time. Was a good time. It was my first EMC. Scored 3 kills and was captured. Managed to escape though. Here are a couple screenies I took. Yes it was getting dark out.

Linda and I had the kids and grand kids over for an early Christmas get together so I had to miss that one. Sounds like it was fun, sorry I missed it.

I can't commit to the EMC every week because there are some Sundays I work 9-5. It was a good time and if I get time when I am off on Sunday and there is an EMC, I may take the time to participate.
